Progress!

Apparently today is Yui Hirasawa's birthday! I remember I had gotten my tablet a year ago and oh boy my drawings were super bad. I drew a picture for her birthday last year so I continued this year and drew a picture of her again. I must say I was impressed. At least I know I actually progressed some in sketching and doodling.

Lately I've only had dreams of school, which I find funny because I absolutely can't stand school. It's probably the worst part of my week, or day.
I'm a heavy sleeper so I didn't wake up until about 1pm today. It is break after all. I've seen some others blogs on sleep deprivation, but I don't think I could ever do that. I don't really care for coffee and soda so I'm not sure how I would stay up. I've never even gone a whole day without sleep! If I get about 3-4 hours of sleep one day I usually crash early to where I make up for it or wait until the weekend and sleep all day. Today I had a dream that I found my biology concepts paper that I was supposed to keep all year. (I lost it because I'm a derp.) Woke up thinking about homework and school. I don't think a day of break has gone by where I haven't thought about homework and school while doing nothing about it. I hardly started on my extra credit assignment because I'm just so lazy.
Please don't say you are lazy!
 
I have until tuesday though so I guess I shouldn't be worried. I should finish it to get it out of the way, but I know I won't do that. Anyway, here's the progress I made from last year compared to this year.

Last year.
This year! Both are sketches, but I do feel my drawing skills have improved greatly. I mean, Look! My head is normal sized! Happy Birthday Reta- Yui!

    I didn't even notice the terrible head proportions until you mentioned them. I actually like the first one better. It's very loli-like.

    This is how I was for my attempt. I didn't make it very far, but it was still fun.

    That's still way ahead of me, oftentimes I don't do required homework just because I'm so lazy. Those drawings are kawaii, keep it up!
